Registration

How do I access the app?

Simply download the app from the App Store or Google Play and create your account.
The app is only accessible once your account has been activated. Your login details are the ones you created during registration.

How do I sign up to take part in shifts?

You can sign up directly through the Fairson Job app. Just download the app and create your profile.

Do I need to send a CV?

No. You can sign up directly through the app without needing to submit a CV.

How long does registration take?

It only takes a few minutes. Once your profile is complete, you can start browsing available shifts.

Can I sign up without experience?

Yes. No prior experience is required. Instructions are provided at the start of each shift.

Do I need any qualifications?

No qualifications are required. We welcome motivated, reliable and proactive individuals.

Stocktaking shifts

Why can’t I see any shifts?

Shifts are released progressively in waves based on:

  • Your location
  • Your profile
  • Remaining availability

The largest wave is usually sent around 20 days before the shift (D-20).

Where can I find available shifts?

In the app, go to the Shifts tab, then:

  • Near you
  • Recommended for you

Shifts may be published between 2 days and 1 month before they take place.

Can I car-share?

Fairson does not organise car-sharing for liability and data protection reasons.

Are travel expenses covered?

Travel expenses are not reimbursed.

Can I receive shifts further away?

Shifts are generally offered within a 50 km radius of your location.

What does the star on some shifts mean?

A star indicates that the shift is recommended for you, based on:

  • Your profile
  • Your performance
  • Your location

It means the shift is particularly well suited to you.

Why does my IH score change?

Your IH score evolves based on:

  • Your performance on shifts
  • Overall team performance
  • Quality standards set with clients

If no target is defined for a shift, the app may display 0%, meaning "not applicable", this does not affect your score.

What happens if my IH score is below 80%?

An IH score below 80% may indicate your pace is below expectations.

We recommend speaking with on-site supervisors (Inventory Supervisor or team leaders) during your shift for advice on improving speed and efficiency

Performance is assessed across multiple shifts, as it can vary depending on the site, organisation or complexity. The goal is to support your progress.

However, consistently low performance may temporarily limit access to certain shifts.

How long does a shift last?

The duration shown is an estimate. Actual time on-site may vary depending on:

  • Preparation and setup
  • Store-specific constraints
  • Stock volume during the shift

Are there breaks?

Breaks depend on on-site conditions, client requirements and progress.

However, for shifts lasting 6 hours or more, a legal break of at least 20 consecutive minutes is provided.

How do I cancel a shift?

If you can no longer attend, you must inform us as early as possible.

Cancellations must be sent at least 2 hours in advance during office hours (Monday to Friday, 9am–12pm and 2pm–5pm, excluding public holidays).
Send your request to recrutement@fairson.fr, including your name, shift date and location.

Repeated or late cancellations may impact your reliability rating.

What happens if I’m absent?

Your attendance is essential:

  • For the client: absence may delay the stocktake
  • For the team: the supervisor must reorganise the team
  • For you: reliability is key to receiving future shifts

Unreported absences are recorded.

An absence rate above 30% over your last 5 shifts, or 2 consecutive absences, may lead to cancellation of future bookings.

Please inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend.

Will I be notified about available shifts?

Yes, you’ll receive notifications via the Fairson Job app when shifts become available. Make sure notifications are enabled.

Can I choose my arrival time if several slots are available?

Yes. Some shifts offer multiple arrival times. However, the end time remains the same.

Contract

Where can I find my contract?

In the app, go to Shifts > My upcoming shifts, then open the shift details. Your contract is available 10 days before the shift (D-10).

What happens if I don’t sign my contract?

The contract must be signed on the day it becomes available:

  • D-10 → contract available
  • Midnight → deadline to sign

If not signed, your place is released and may be reassigned.

Where can I find my assignment details?

After signing your contract, go to Shifts > My upcoming shifts.
In the shift details, you’ll find:

  • Address
  • Time
  • Your Fairson contact on-site

What should I wear?

Wear clean, comfortable clothing suitable for movement.

  • Simple clothing recommended
  • Closed, non-slip shoes required
  • Avoid bulky accessories or dangling jewellery

If specific equipment (e.g. safety shoes) is required, it will be stated in your assignment details.

Why can shift times change?

Times may change depending on client or store requirements. Always check the app for the latest information.

Is wearing a headscarf allowed?

Yes, as long as the face remains visible. Some assignments may require strict neutrality with no visible religious symbols.

Pay

How much will I earn?

Shifts are paid at minimum wage, typically for around 4–5 hours. Additional payments may include:

  • +4% for night hours (before 7am and after 10pm)
  • +10% holiday pay
  • +10% end-of-contract allowance

These are paid in line with short-term contract regulations.

When will I be paid?

Payments are made twice a month:

  • Shifts from 1st–15th → paid on the 25th
  • Shifts from 16th–31st → paid on the 10th of the following month

If the date falls on a weekend or public holiday, payment is made on the next working day.

Where can I find my payslip?

In the app, go to Shifts > Shift history, select the shift, then Documents.
Payslips are available 24–48 hours after payment.

I haven’t received my payment. What should I do?

Payments are made according to the schedule. Depending on your bank, it may take a few days to appear.

If you haven’t received anything after 7 days, contact recrutement@fairson.fr.

My payment still hasn’t arrived: what now?

  • Check your bank details in the app
  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank

If a transfer is rejected, you will be informed and payment will be reissued on the next payment date.

Do I get health insurance?

No. Shifts are typically very short-term contracts and do not include company health insurance.

The “Tranche A” line on your payslip refers to mandatory pension contributions, not health insurance.

Why doesn’t Fairson appear on my tax return?

Due to the short-term nature of contracts, a neutral tax rate may apply.
You can find your annual tax certificate in your documents.
